EPL round-up

Man utd and Man city grind out narrow wins as Hull city were ruthless againt fulham.

The day began with an entertaing 3 - 3 draw between westham united and Westbromwich Albiom. Joe cole gave the home side a 4th min lead before anelka equalized five minutes before the break. Just as the half was about to come an end Anelka struck again with a subline finish to put The Baggies 2 - 1 up into the break.
There was drama some 20 minutes after the break, where 3 goals were scored in a space of five minutes, first was an equalizer by Maiga on the 65th minutes then captain kelvin Nolan gave Westham the lead for the first time in the match on the 67th. The hammers fans were still in celebration mood when westbrom equalized on the 69th minute through Berahino to silence the home fans. Both side carved out more scoring chances but could not add to their tally, so from a westham point of view it rather two points lost than a point gained considering their league position.

At villa park, swansea came from a goal down to draw Aston villa. Gabriel Agbonlahor's cool finish gave Villa the lead before Roland Lamah headed home an equalizer from a Pablo Hernandez's cross. Villa headed into this encounter on the back of a four match loosing streak and today looks like its going to be a fifth but swansea could not make the most of their monopolized possession.

At the KC stadium, Tom Huddlestone inspired Hull city to a 6-nil thrashing of Fulham to go seven points clear of the Premier League relegation zone. It was the Tigers' biggest-ever victory in the Premier League.
Ahmed Elmohamady started the rout with a 15-yard
shot on the 49th minute before Robert Koren swept in from Yannick Sagbo's cross on the 60th minute and George Boyd drove in a third 3 minutes later. Tom Huddlestone thumped in his first goal since April 2011 on the 67th minute, Matty Fryatt tapped in a fifth on the 74th minute and Koren prodded in the sixth from close range 6 minuted from time.

Manchester city were made to dig deep by a resilient Palace defence. Edin Dzeko curler drive from a Jesus Navas's low cross on the 65th minute was all city need to go top of the log -atleast for 24hours.
Joa Hart was at his best today to denies Crystal Palace series of goal bound chance even with literarily one eye after a collision early in the game.

Manchester United were made to work even harder to overcome a stubborn Norwich side, Danny Welbeck strike early in the second half gave United their sixth straight win in all competition and take David Moyes men up 6th on the EPL table with 34 point, two behind Fifth place Everton who takes on southampton tommorow at Gudison park.

The last match of the day saw button club sunderland came from 2 - nil down to earn an invaluable point at Cardiff city. Mutch score inside 6minutes of kick-off before Campbell doubled their lead on the 58th min. Fletcher pulled one back for the Black Cat before Colback struck on the 90th minute to restore parity. Sunderland still remained at the buttom of the table while Cardiff are in 16th position.

With Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle yet to place, one thing is sure that one of the two Manchester Clubs will maintain their curren league position.

So after today's match, the table looks like this:
