Higuain to Chelsea, Diego Costa and Dimitar Berbatov to Arsenal.
Hi every one, its a dry morning over here but not in the tranfer market.
According to the Mirror this morning, Chelsea have had a whooping £50mil bid rejected for Argentine international, Gonzalo Higuain.
Higuain -who was so close to joining Arsenal before been snapped up by former Chelsea boss, Rafael Benitez' Napoli at last summer's transfer window- has established him self as an indispensible part of the current Napoli crop which bowed out of this season Champions League on goals difference. Jose mourinho had been loosing sleep over his three recognised strikers who have failed to live up to expectations.
During his time as Real Madrid Boss, Mourinho barely gave Higuain full 90minutes on the pitch, he opted to rotate him with Karim Benzima which cast doubt on the genuiness of this report.
In other news, Arsene wenger is planning to break the bank for Athletico Madrids star, Diego costa.
The in-form striker has a release clause of £32mil in his current contract with Athletico, which Wenger is willing to meet. Its Gunner be a great deal for Arsenal -who are without a recognised striker, after Nicklas Bendtner joined Olivier Giroud and yaya Sanogo on the treatment table- if this deal pulls off.
Report in England has it that Arsene Wenger has bidded £2mil for Fulham's Bulgarian Striker Dimitar Berbatov who has 6months remaining in his contract at the Craven Cottage. Berbatov has a wealth of premier and champions league experience and the good thing about this potential deal is that he's eligible to play in the Champions league knock out stage unlike Diego costa.
It remains to be seen if any of these deal will be pulled off.
